A new feature available with most Lanier
brand copiers (MFP’s) is the ability to scan, store, and retrieve documents
using a secure online storage site. This new feature is called Document
Mall. For machines so equipped, you can perform these document
management functions right from the LCD screen of the copier. This option
offers the obvious advantages of secure offsite document storage while
allowing for easy storage, indexing, and retrieval, thus eliminating the
need for in-house software and data storage requirements.
To use Document Mall, your new copier must
be configured with this option. After that, you establish an account directly
with Lanier. The fees for this service are economically priced, and are
based on the amount of storage space required.
